We are lovers of great Steak!
Let’s just admit it. There just isn’t anything like a fine cut of meat prepared just right at an amazing restaurant. We are suckers of restaurants that are supporting their local community farmers and producers. Farm to table is the way to go. Food that is grown locally and prepared locally with great pride taken on both sides is going to be some amazing food.
Here at Cowfaqs, we wanted to take it one step further. We wanted to know more about our food. We wanted to know the farm, the farmer, their story, their family. We wanted to know what kind of beef we were eating, how it was fed, taken care of, and prepared.
Cowfaqs was born out of the love of great steak and the want to support the local farms. It is our feeling that by providing an opportunity to document the history of beef it will not only provide more opportunities for the local farmers, but also encourage even better beef to be grown locally and served locally.
So take this opportunity to learn about your beef. Get to know the local farm and family and if you would like support them by eating their beef at the restaurant or by buying beef directly from them.
